Returns and Resolutions

Effective Date: February 12, 2026. Most sales on Swim Marketplace are final. If something goes wrong, we support buyers and sellers through the process below.

Key Timelines:

Buyer refund request window: 10 calendar days from delivery (or estimated delivery)

  • Seller response time: 3 business days
  • Request Swim Marketplace to step in:After 3 business days if unresolved
  • Buyer ships approved return: Within 7 calendar days after return instructions/label
  • Automated closure for inactivity: After 14 business days with no activity
  • Chargebacks: Seller response usually within 5 calendar days; resolution may take 90+ days

Not As Described: A request may be approved as "Not As Described" if there is a material difference between the listing and the item received, such as:

  • Wrong item/brand/model/size.
  • Counterfeit item.
  • Major undisclosed damage not shown or stated.
  • Missing components that were included or implied.

Not typically covered:

  • Fit issues if the listed size was accurate.
  • Minor wear consistent with the condition described.
  • Buyer’s remorse.

Return Shipping:

  • If a return is approved due to Not As Described, the seller pays for return shipping. Swim Marketplace may require a prepaid label, provide a label and deduct costs from the seller’s payout, or require reimbursement as part of the resolution.
  • Buyer Return Deadline (7 Days). If a return is approved, the buyer must ship the item back within 7 calendar days after receiving return instructions/label (unless Swim Marketplace specifies otherwise). If the buyer does not ship in time, the request may be closed and the buyer may lose eligibility for a refund.

How to Open a Request (Buyers):

Open a request within 10 calendar days of delivery (or estimated delivery) and include:

  • What’s wrong and when you noticed it.
  • Photos (Not As Described).
  • Tracking details (Not Received).

What Sellers Must Do:

Sellers must respond within 3 business days and provide relevant evidence (photos, listing details, tracking, message history).

When Swim Marketplace Steps In:

If unresolved after 3 business days, either party can request Swim Marketplace to step in. We will review available evidence and determine an outcome.
